For 5 years I was with the same man. Convincing myself we were right for each other when in reality we were not. The relationship continued to devolve until it broke. Once it was broken it was obvious it wouldn’t be put back together, at least for me. 

It’s hard to have physical intimacy when there isn’t trust. When you feel on display. When you aren’t sure what will trigger anger or when his desire is something that wants to consume you rather than consummate with you. 

Do you ever wish you could talk to your 20 year old self? Well this is me doing that and being very confused.
